The Knesset is currently discussing the March 2, 2020 elections, writes The Jerusalem Post. The “automatic” date, however, provides for the March 10 elections, on this day the Jewish holiday of Purim is celebrated.

Earlier, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin gave Knesset Speaker Julius Edelstein 21 days to form a government after Netanyahu and Kahol-Lavan party leader Beni Ganz were unable to form a coalition.
