According to a member of the provincial council, Abdullah Naji Nazari, the landslide occurred on Wednesday, December 11, on the border with China in the province of Badakhshan.
He also noted that several people were missing.
It was previously reported that an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 occurred in Afghanistan.
