The Fujairah Criminal Court examined the case of two Africans accused of assaulting a policeman while performing his work, causing injuries to him, and drinking alcohol, in addition to accusing the second accused of threatening a person with “killing, eating his flesh, and insulting him with the verbal abuse of shame”.

The judiciary confronted the defendants with the charges against them, and they said that they were drunk and went to the victim, and the second accused threatened him with death and ate his flesh, in revenge from him, and when the victim contacted the security authorities in order to protect himself, the defendants assaulted the security man and caused Sporadic injuries to his body, according to the medical report attached to the case papers.

For his part, the first accused denied the charges of assaulting the security man and threatening someone with death, confessing to the charge of drinking alcohol.

The second accused said that he went to the victim with the aim of obtaining his passport, in order to travel to his country because of the death of his father, and his desire to join the funeral, but the victim refused, paid, and entered into an argument with him, continuing that he had not threatened him with death or uttered words of shame for modesty, He also denied the charge of assaulting the security man, and pleaded guilty to drinking alcohol.

The judiciary decided to postpone the decision in the case until next week.
