The vise tightens around Donald Trump. The Democrats have held Tuesday, December 10, two counts against the US President in the impeachment proceedings that targets it: abuse of power and obstruction of the smooth running of Congress.

If these leaders are then adopted in plenary session, presumably next week, Donald Trump will become the third president in history to be indicted in the US Congress.

However, he will probably not be dismissed afterwards, since the Senate, in charge of judging him, is controlled by Republicans who are largely blocking around him.
