The French government has launched a $ 110,000 humanitarian aid to North Korea, according to VOA.

According to the United Nations Human Rights Coordinator (OCHA), the French government decided to donate $ 111,000 to the World Food Program (WFP) 's food aid program to North Korea last month.

France also supported North Koreans in April through the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

According to the OCHA, France is the eighth largest donor country, giving $ 392,000 to North Korea this year.

Of this year's US $ 37.77 million, South Korea became the largest donor of $ 9 million, or 23.8%, followed by Switzerland at $ 8.3 million, or 22.8%.

The UN Security Council sanctions on North Korea in the letter approved the UNICEF's exemption from sanctioning North Korea until June 4 next year.

On April 11, UNICEF was granted sanctions until October, when it was allowed to bring supplies for relief efforts to improve North Korea's health, food and sanitation.

UNICEF's sanctioned exemptions are approximately $ 7.5 million worth of first aid tools, operating room equipment and other medical and water quality equipment.
