Chizhov noted that in a number of European countries at the state level they are trying to purposefully squeeze out the Russian language from all spheres of life, thus violating the rights of the Russian-speaking population.
“In many countries of the European Union laws are passed that grossly violate the language and educational rights of national minorities protected by multilateral conventions. All this is presented as measures to protect the state languages of these countries that have suffered, as presented in their latest mythology, from the difficult heritage of the USSR, ”the Russian Permanent Representative emphasized.
