The day of December 5th showed a strong mobilization against the pension reform. Faced with this mobilization, which will last in transport at least until Monday, December 9, the executive has chosen to wait.

To let the December 5th strike pass is the choice that the executive seems to have made, who has been communicating for several days on the appointments next week. The first will be with the High Commissioner for pensions, Jean-Paul Delevoye, to present his conclusions after the consultations with the social partners.

Take his time

The second will be with Prime Minister Philippe Philippe who, in the process, must finally give " the general architecture " of the reform. And so out of the " blur " denounced by the unions and the opposition, because for now no project is on the table. This leaves room for the executive to find compromises, especially with the CFDT, without which, a minister recognizes, it will be difficult to pass the reform.

Everything in his time for Emmanuel Macron who chose to proceed in sequence. First, " consultation and listening, the two udders of act 2 ". Listening to the unions, but also the French who came down the street. And even if officially the extent of the mobilization is not the adjustment criterion of the reform, the " arbitrations " are not made. And they will have to be acceptable to the French.

This is the next sequence and the mission entrusted by Emmanuel Macron to Édouard Philippe. The President of the Republic who, for the moment, leaves the head of government in the front line.
