01 December 2019The pro-democracy protest has returned to the streets in Hong Kong to challenge the police after two weeks of electoral break, marked by the triumphant victory at the polls. At night there were some clashes. Then the protesters gathered peacefully, waving US flags and banners that appeal to Donald Trump. One reads "Trump please release Hong Kong", another "Make Hong Kong Great Again". Several hundred protesters are headed to the US consulate, others to the Polytechnic district.
