Supported by David Cormand, Julien Bayou should largely succeed him at the head of the party Europe Ecology Greens (EELV). After negotiations between different party tendencies until the last minute of the filing of the lists, the ecologist party implies that the regional councilor of Ile-de-France, Julien Bayou, is assured of being elected as new secretary national of Europe Ecology the Greens.
