From his exile in Mexico, former Bolivian President Evo Morales responds to accusations of terrorism, in an interview with James Blears, RFI correspondent in English in Mexico. Evo Morales says he does not want to run again as a presidential candidate.

" They are inventing false lawsuits against us, accusations of terrorism, sedition. But what I see, and what I listen to, is that the people continue to be mobilized. This is important for democracy, and especially for defending human life. With so many deaths already, the international community knows that there is a massacre under way, with crimes against humanity, that we hope will not remain impunity, "said the former president of Bolivia Evo Morales RFI correspondent in English in Mexico, James Blears.

Evo Morales, does he plan to return to Bolivia?

" They stole our change process for now, but we're sure we'll be able to get it back. My only interest is to guarantee the new elections if it were necessary with other political actors. But my return would be possible only with guarantees. Without the guarantees of the de facto government or the international community, no return, "said Evo Morales.

Will he present to present his candidacy for the presidential election?

" No, now I only think of guaranteeing pacification, " replies the former Bolivian president.

Forced to resign on 10 November, Evo Morales has been in Mexico since 12 November , granting him political asylum .
