Vučić warned the Macedonian leader that even if the European Union makes a positive decision to join the alliance, “this joy will last for 15 days,” and then questions will arise about further actions.

“We have not yet seen the result. They (EU. - RT ) have the right to deal with themselves, with their questions, methodology ... But, if I tell my people here in Serbia now: people, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, we know exactly what will happen, then it really does not depend from us, ”RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The Serbian leader recalled that when representatives of the Balkan countries attend an EU forum, they are constantly forced to emphasize the importance of “European integration” for them and complain about neighboring states.

“I learned this from our office for European integration as a rhyme, and everyone else also learned ... And then these“ fathers and mothers ”from Europe told us - did you see what problems these people create in Skopje or those in Belgrade?” Vučić.

According to him, in this way the European Union played with them “like with dolls on ropes”, and the time has come to stop it.

“From me they will never hear anything bad about someone from the region. I myself will tell them in person that I think ... so that they no longer play with us like puppets, as was the case until now, ”the Serbian President emphasized.

Vucic previously ruled out the possibility of Serbia joining NATO or the CSTO.

On November 19, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that North Macedonia could join the alliance in early 2020.

The doctor of historical sciences Artyom Ulunyan, in an interview with the NSN, explained the decision of Macedonia to change the name by his desire to ensure the full integration of the country into NATO and the EU.
