In Udmurtia, two people were killed in an accident involving an ambulance and a truck

In Udmurtia, when an ambulance collided with a truck, a paramedic and a patient died and four more were injured. This was reported in the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the republic.



“Unfortunately, 4 people suffered as a result of the accident, 2 died (the patient and the paramedic of the ambulance),” the representative of the Interfax press service quotes.

Among the victims is another patient accompanying, an ambulance driver, as well as a truck driver.

Three of them were hospitalized, while two were in serious condition.

The accident occurred at 20:45 Moscow time on 199 km of the Volga federal highway M-7.

According to the traffic police, the truck driver fell asleep at the wheel.

At the end of October, six people, including a child, were injured in an accident with an ambulance in Buryatia.
