A 15-year-old girl in northeastern Skåne was contacted by an unknown man on snapchat, who asked if she wanted to make money. She received SEK 15,000 which she took out and left to one person, and as a thank you was able to retain SEK 1,500. She was sentenced to juvenile care and to pay damages.

Was asked in the mall

A 16-year-old boy was sentenced to juvenile service after withdrawing money for a man who contacted him at a mall in Kristianstad and asked if he wanted to make money on a fast service. He himself says that the payment was SEK 800. He also had to pay damages.

Suspected that it was drug money

A 16-year-old boy was at the leisure farm when a guy he knew had earlier asked him to withdraw money that his dad would swish, because he himself forgot his bank card at home.

The 16-year-old tells the police that he thought it was strange when it came to SEK 15,000 in the account, but he nevertheless took the money in a cash machine near the leisure yard and gave it to the guy. He says he suspected that the money came from drug sales but that he was scared and felt compelled to withdraw the money. The verdict was youth service and damages.

Was applied for at the school

A 15-year-old girl in Hässleholm has been asked several times by her cousin's cousin to transfer a few hundred kronor that she would receive from her father. But instead, she received SEK 15,000, and her friend and one other person found her at the school and asked her to withdraw the money. When asked why it was so much money, she got no answer but was asked to withdraw the money quickly. She says in police interviews that she felt stressed and forced to accompany them to the ATM. The girl was sentenced to pay fines and damages.
