- Among other things, we have booked work passes in the evenings and weekends. We also have people who puzzle in the booking schedule so that no times should be left empty if an investigation is canceled, says Fredrik Larsson, chief operating officer at X-ray.

In addition, the clinic has hired a consulting company to help carry out the examinations at times when the medical services are not using their premises.

- The consulting firm has helped us make more X-rays, so-called DT. This has meant that we ourselves have been able to focus more on the other surveys and in this way we have reduced the waiting times for all surveys.

Emergency examinations are done immediately

For the most common investigations, the waiting time is currently around eight weeks. The ambition is, however, that that time should be four weeks next year. However, emergency examinations are always done directly.

- Our employees have done a great job and if we could also reduce the number of missed visits, the goal would be achieved even faster. Once we get to the goal in four weeks, we should be able to maintain it with our own staff, ”says Roland Gustbée (M), chairman of the health and medical committee.
