It was at the end of October that the Santtos school at Lindholmen was evacuated after threats in social media. The threat was in the form of a picture of several weapons where it was said that a gunfire would take place at the school. One person was arrested, suspected of grossly unlawful threats against the group.

Although the police made the assessment that the threat would not be enforced, the principal closed the school on his own initiative.

About a month later, on Tuesday, new threats came to the school, which GP was the first to tell. This time too, it must have been about threats of gunshots, from the same sender.

"The threat on Tuesday was the same kind of threat we received in October," Ebba Warbord, principal at Santos School, told SVT News West.

"Takes the threat seriously"

The school made a police report, but this time chose to keep the school open.

- We take the threat just as seriously. But we have other information about the event that we did not close this time. The police do not see that it could be enforced this time, explains Ebba Warbord.

And a day later, on Wednesday night, the police received an alarm about another threat.

- Yesterday the police received a tip about a third threat to the school. But it is unclear if there was anything, explains Ebba Warbord.

She explains that the school is now trying to calm those parents and students who are worried.

- There are obviously those who are worried. One is worried that the threats will be realized. We try to calm them down by having a lot on hand in the corridors.

Guards possible solution

She explains that they are currently looking at different opportunities to move forward. A possible security measure that the school is discussing is guards in the corridors.

- But we haven't decided yet. The idea is in that case that they would be there for a limited period of time.
