19 November 20194.39 More than 547,000 people were affected by floods in Somalia, where 370,000 were forced to flee their homes. This was announced by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (Ocha), stating that at least 17 people have died as a result of recent floods. "Farms, infrastructure and roads have been destroyed, while in the most affected areas, livelihoods are lacking," reads the Ocha report.
