A messy birthday? On Saturday, a year after the first Saturday of mobilization of "yellow vests", the protesters took to the streets to express their opposition to the government. Violence has enamelled some gatherings, especially in Paris. Two police officers were trapped in a laundromat in the north of Paris. "One of the two authors was arrested and I am delighted," said Christophe Castaner, invited Sunday of the Grand rendezvous Europe 1 with CNews and Les Echos.

264 arrests

A total of 264 people including 173 in Paris were arrested, according to the figures indicated by the minister. Saturday night, 129 people were placed in custody at the end of this day of mobilization.

The demonstrations gathered 28,000 people throughout France, including 4,700 in Paris, according to the Ministry of the Interior. The last equivalent participation dates back to Saturday, March 9, with 28,600 people in France. For its part, the movement gave an overall estimate of 39,530 participants this Saturday, according to the "Yellow Number".
