It was when the suspected man left his assignment as treasurer of the association that the suspected embezzlement was discovered.
"It was the new treasurer who discovered that money was taken," says Susanne Bergsten at the police's crime scene.
In total, money must have disappeared from the cashier on three occasions during the period when the suspected misdemeanor was treasurer of the association. A total of SEK 18,000 was made at the checkout when the suspected crime was discovered.
- It's a smaller association so for them it's probably quite a lot of money, says Susanne Bergsten.
