Frenchman Pierre Gasly (Toro Rosso), 2nd Sunday of the Brazilian Grand Prix, won by the Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull), is the 1st Frenchman on an F1 podium since Romain Grosjean (Lotus) at the 2015 Belgian GP.
The Briton Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) is temporarily third but under investigation by the race commissioners after a clash with the Thai Alexander Albon (Red Bull) in the final laps.
