November 16, 2019There are at least two people who died in Iran, during protests that broke out after the rationing of petrol and the increase in the price of fuel. The BBC reports this. One person was killed in Sirjan and one demonstrator died in the city of Behbahan. In the clashes that broke out in several cities, from Tehran to Isfahan, there were also several wounded.

Protest with Waze, car turned off and traffic jams
The protest against the increase in the price of fuel has also affected Tehran. The city is in the throes of traffic jams caused by an unprecedented way to demonstrate against the government, which has led the authorities to close schools and, consequently, to reduce traffic in the city. In the capital of the Islamic Republic those who drive a car communicate how to protest through the Waze app, indicating where to turn off the car and cause the traffic jam. And it is on Waze that many of the supporters of the government led by President Hassan Rohani and fans of the conservative faction squabble over the responsibilities of rising prices. For the rest, the Internet has today shown a great deal of instability in connections throughout Iran, and also in Tehran.
