16 November 2019The wave of bad weather continues over most of Italy, hit by an Atlantic disturbance. It is a red alert for hydrogeological risk in three regions (Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Emilia Romagna) and orange in other 8. This is indicated by a new warning of adverse weather conditions of the Civil Protection.

From today afternoon thunderstorms on Sardinia, Liguria and Emilia-Romagna; precipitation will also persist on Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. Moreover, strong winds or storms are expected on Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Marche, extending to Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, with storm surges on the exposed coasts.

Snowfall on the Ligurian hinterland and Emilia-Romagna, with snow levels above 600-800 meters; snowfalls also in Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano, with snow levels above 1000-1200 m and moderate to abundant inlets and snow levels in subsequent rises. From tomorrow morning the showers will affect first Campania, then Calabria and Basilicata.
