The Ministry of Education, Hussein Al-Hammadi, said that the ministry has conducted tests to determine the level of English teachers, and only succeeded about 35% of them, adding that the ministry is working to raise the efficiency of its teachers, and the recruitment of qualified cadres, through the development processes conducted for them over the course of School year, so that all teachers, including English teachers, are highly efficient.

Al Hammadi stressed during the lecture «Education and the future», in the city of Al Ain, not to accept an English teacher, the level of less than 7, pointing out that the national teachers graduates of the UAE University and technical colleges are characterized by a high level of English up to 8.

On the other hand, the ministry worked to limit the teachers of all subjects, poor performance in public schools, through the model of "inventory of teachers who do not fit for teaching and their performance is low," and asked the school administrations to circulate it, to identify the reasons for the weakness of each teacher.

The Ministry is currently studying all cases received from school administrations for re-evaluation, in order to ensure that they are not fit to perform the tasks assigned to them.

During its field visits to public schools, the Ministry monitored the decline in the performance of teachers in the classroom, and called for several measures to enhance their capacities, including self-development courses.

The Ministry, represented by the Department of Training and Professional Development, invited teachers and administrators in public schools to engage in self-development courses to enhance their professional abilities.

The Department distributed them self-reading files, including abstracts of books and scientific studies in Arabic and English, so that each teacher chooses one file, accessed, and then enter the evaluation page via links identified for them.

The department said that the ministry will calculate three training hours for those with 70% or more in the evaluation, which was conducted electronically for teachers and administrators, stressing its keenness to apply the diversity of training methods and promote self-learning among teachers.

The ministry pointed out that it aims to organize a continuous integrated education, stressing the role of the teacher as a key axis in the educational process, and then work to raise its efficiency through training and rehabilitation courses throughout the academic year.

Electronic system

The Ministry of Education reported that technology and the electronic system in schools contribute 40% of the lesson explanation, stressing that the electronic system in its schools distinct, and contain artificial intelligence, and with it become a teacher to supervise the lesson and directed to students, and not instigated, as in traditional teaching methods, and then Stress relieves the teacher, intervenes when a particular student finds a particular weakness, and the system does not carry additional burdens.

Listening test

Tomorrow, the public schools in the UAE will start applying the English language listening test and monitoring procedures for students in grades 1-12.

The Department of Evaluation and Examinations at the Ministry of Education, in circulating its distribution to schools, recently, that the timetable for exams runs until November 20, and targets students from all tracks and levels, according to the new plan in teaching English.
