After a few quieter weeks in Venezuela, the opposition intends to resume the street this Saturday, November 16th. For weeks, Juan Guaido tries to motivate the Venezuelans disappointed by months of unsuccessful events. Even professors who were organizing a 72-hour strike this week to defend their rights no longer seem totally convinced by opposition calls. Reportage.

This is the third national strike in just a month and a half. In front of the Ministry of Education, several teachers demand an increase in their salary.

For over a year, Yulay, a mistress, only touches the minimum wage, less than a dozen euros per month: " It is impossible with the hyperinflation of this country to survive with a minimum wage. With 300,000 Bolivars you can not feed your family. "

For now, they have not received any response from the government and threaten to launch an indefinite strike.

Everyone is clamoring for the departure of Nicolas Maduro, which makes Griselda Sanchez, a union representative, say that it is necessary to demonstrate with the opposition: " What is certain is that this government will never put a policy in place that will allow us to live decently in Venezuela. That's why many teachers, here present, will mobilize this Saturday to defend the constitutional order. "

But not everyone agrees. Orlando, another unionist, says he no longer believes the promises of the opposition. " Between their divisions and the personal ambitions of some, they have strengthened the government. And then their message is not clear. For this reason the popularity of Guaidó has dropped dramatically. "

An opinion shared by many Venezuelans and that announces nothing good vis-à-vis the mobilization of this Saturday.
