It is reported by RIA Novosti.

It is noted that representatives of various non-governmental organizations, opposition, their supporters and ordinary citizens of Georgia have already blocked the central avenue of Rustaveli.

According to opposition figure Georgy Vashadze, it was originally planned that the demonstrations would begin in the evening at 19:00 (18:00 Moscow time), but in the end it turned out that the protests started immediately.

In June, protests were already taking place in Tbilisi. Then this happened after the Georgian opposition and the radicals disrupted the meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy due to the fact that State Duma deputy Sergei Gavrilov, who heads this organization, was sitting in the chair of the head of the legislative body during the event.
