Riyadh: Riyadh police arrested an Arab resident with a knife to stab him on Monday night during a concert by a theatrical group at King Abdullah Park in the Malaz region.
The Saudi channel "Al-Akhbariya" in its account on Twitter - citing police - said the stabbing targeted two men and a woman from the theater group during the stage show. The channel's account, citing its sources, confirmed that the condition of the injured was stable.
For its part, the newspaper "Riyadh" that the Saudi Red Crescent dealt with a stabbing incident during a show held within the events of Malaz entertainment in King Abdullah Park in the capital Riyadh.
Videos posted on social media showed a person quickly rallying towards the parade band, while a member of the security forces tried to counter it.
Several members of the group fell on stage during the attack, which caused panic among the audience, while footage showed an evacuation of the park.
The Malaz Festival is part of a series of entertainment, artistic and cultural events in the Riyadh region.
