“I am for the war with Russia to end. I am for that in the long run, we somehow normalized our relations, but this will not be on the principle of "take and forget." Russia must pay a price for its aggression. And the end of the war is the money paid for the aggression and the return of Crimea, no matter how much time it takes, ”said Kuleba in a conversation with RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, there “factories were cut and taken out, the mines were flooded there”, and “if there is an environmental disaster, all these figures should be considered”.

“But I am deeply convinced that the war with Russia will last until Crimea returns to Ukraine. The war began with Crimea - the war in Crimea will end. And in this war we will fight for the Crimea, ”he said.

At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that under the "war" he primarily means the "political and economic path."

Earlier, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladislav Krikliy said that Russia after the end of the conflict in the Donbass should pay reparations to Kiev.

In the State Duma, commenting on his words, they emphasized that Russia is not a party to the conflict and it is unreasonable to demand compensation from it.

The Kremlin also called not to forget who started the war in Donbass and where Donbass is located.

Crimea became the Russian region after the referendum of 2014, in which the majority of the inhabitants of the peninsula called for reunification with Russia.
