November 11th, 2019In December new contributions for the purchase of decoders and smart TVs capable of supporting Dvbt2 technology, a new system that is more advanced than the current Dvbt1. Shortly, assure by the Ministry of Economic Development, will be published the interministerial decree Mise-Mef which will allow the disbursement. The objective is to "increase the current 151 million euros" allocated with the 2019 budget law, requesting a new financing of the measure to widen the range of beneficiaries. Based on the funding already provided, the voucher amounts to 50 euros.

At the table last Thursday, chaired by Undersecretary Mirella Liuzzi, representatives of the competent authorities, television operators and trade associations who discussed a series of issues participated: from the criteria and methods of providing compensation for the local TV stations on the 'road map' calendar of the first phase of the shutdown of the networks of the technical areas, going through the next fulfilments of competence of the Agcom foreseen by law and the contents of the inter-ministerial decree Mise-Mef for the disbursement of the bonus.

Furthermore, the first initiatives to be put in place to talk to citizens about the new television standard Dvtb2 were discussed.
