According to a press release on the corporation's website, Boeing continues to work on obtaining certification for the commercial use of 737 MAX aircraft from the US Federal Aviation Administration.

The company also said that at the moment, employees are working on the final approval of new requirements for training pilots for this type of aircraft.

“Taking into account all the thorough checks, we are confident that the MAX aircraft will be one of the safest in history,” the report said.

It was previously reported that American Airlines extended the ban on the operation of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft until March 5, 2020.

In late October, the company created a $ 100 million relief fund for the families of victims of the crash of 737 MAX airliners.
