“The verification of the validity of the purchase in 2015-2019 of Bogdan-2251 ambulances and MAZ-5316 and MAZ-6317 trucks is being carried out,” the press release says.
As part of the investigation, it is planned to find out the reasons for the annual increase in prices for these cars by 30%, as well as the legality of the grounds for concluding additional agreements to increase their value.
Verification is expected to take at least two months.
Earlier, the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine issued a suspicion to five senior officials of the Ministry of Defense in the purchase of low-quality body armor for the Ukrainian army.
