Government sets unemployment benefits for 2020


Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on setting unemployment benefits for 2020. The document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

According to the decree, the minimum and maximum benefits will amount to 1.5 thousand and 8 thousand rubles, respectively.

For citizens of pre-retirement age, the minimum amount is similar, and the maximum is 11,280 rubles.

In July, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection proposed options for benefits for next year.

In September it was reported that the unemployment rate in the country reached a historic low.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, the lowest indicator is recorded in Moscow, the most difficult situation is in Ingushetia.
