The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, said that the Riyadh agreement on Yemen unites and enhances hope.

"In a busy week, the Riyadh agreement stands out as the most important positive event in the region. It unites ranks, fosters hope, and underscores the importance of wise diplomacy and its impact," Gargash said in a tweet on Twitter.

He explained: «Saudi good efforts engineered this agreement, in an estimated political achievement», pointing out that «consensus on the agreement is the predominant, and expectation of implementation is normal».

Gargash continued, in another tweet: «On the other hand, I am surprised by the continuation of the Qatari media attack on brotherly Saudi Arabia, and about every stray and incoming .. Is it time for Doha to leave calm and wisdom to resolve the crisis with its neighbors and with Egypt?».

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs concluded his tweets by saying: «distinction between the positive Saudi action, and negative Qatari inquiry».

On Tuesday, the legitimate government of Yemen and the Southern Transitional Council signed the "Riyadh Agreement," opening a new phase of unity in the face of the Iranian-backed Houthi coup.
