The Liberal Party leader Nyamko Sabuni yesterday criticized the leadership of the Employment Service. "We have an authority that is in chaos," she said in Aktuellt.

Among other things, the L-leader believed that the problems at the authority are related to lack of leadership and efficiency, rather than political decisions.

Today, Director General Mikael Sjöberg responds to the criticism.

- I really don't think so. We have cut our budgets so much that I think we could agree that we have had a very difficult situation, says Mikael Sjöberg in Aktuellt.

- And not only is it a lot of money. We got the message in December, via the state budget. It is a parliamentary decision that is the basis for the situation.

- I was on the labor market committee before the decision was made to inform them of the consequences we saw. And already then I mentioned that we saw a notice of 4,500 employees. That meeting was in December.
