The 35-year-old boyfriend discovered hashish on the floor and realized that the boy could have eaten the drug. After sleeping for a few hours, the boy began to breathe strangely and the mother called 112.
The doctors at the University Hospital in Linköping found that the one-year-old was affected by cannabis and that he was hallucinated.
The 35-year-old is now being prosecuted for causing bodily harm. Corren writes that the man in question has expressed remorse, that the incident became an "alarm clock" and that he realizes that drugs should not be stored near children.
