“This is called a temporary residence permit for educational purposes, RVPO, which allows these students to work in Russia, before they were forbidden to do this,” the parliamentarian explained.

As the deputy noted, the draft law is being worked out jointly with the presidential administration.

Earlier, Kalashnikov also said that the government will submit to the State Duma a draft law on simplified acquisition of Russian citizenship.

The document provides for the abolition of the requirement to renounce the citizenship of another country.

At the end of October, the speaker of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, announced the development of a bill that allows foreign students who came to Russia to earn extra money.
