It is Transdev who runs buses for Västtrafik, which has now ordered 157 electric buses from Volvo Buses.

The new electric buses will be in traffic from December 2020.
In what way do the new buses benefit Gothenburg citizens who travel by public transport?
- They get an attractive experience, but we also get a public transport with less emissions and which is quieter, says Agnevall.
When almost 160 buses are delivered at the end of next year, Västtrafik will have a total of 230 electric buses running in the region.
"The goal of Västtrafik is for all city buses in the region to be electrically powered by 2030," says Mette Ramquist, Press Manager at Västtrafik.
