Imports of charcoal products from Italy and Spain have risen sharply in the 2000s. Last year, 5715 tonnes were imported to Sweden, and now the meat raw material in the chark products - pork from Italy and Spain - gets red light in the WWF's meat guide. Magnus Därth is thus critical of how WWF has made the assessment.

- It is above all that the guide assesses the regulations of countries rather than specific products found in Swedish stores, he says.

The imported cheese was also examined.

- Most of the imported cheeses get red light. It is about animal welfare, biodiversity and the weighing we do, says Anna Richert, food expert at WWF.
