The Center of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT), affiliated to the Higher Colleges of Technology, in collaboration with Mubadala Investment Company, is training about 1,200 national cadres in the training for employment program in order to enable them to acquire the required cognitive and applied skills in the labor market. Providing employment opportunities to them, in support of the Emiratization file, as this cooperation resulted in the employment of 800 Emiratis enrolled in the program.
The Director of the Higher Colleges of Technology Complex, Dr. Abdullatif Al Shamsi, explained that this cooperation with Mubadala, through the Siirt Center of the Colleges, confirms the two sides' pursuit of common goals related to empowering national cadres of the labor market skills, which supports their career opportunities and makes them more capable. He added that Sirte represents the research and training arm of the technical colleges and has many years of experience in preparing specialized training programs for various institutions and sectors of work. The needs of each of them, at the level of interdisciplinary knowledge and applied skills.
For his part, Vice President of Mubadala Group, Corporate Affairs and Human Resources, Humaid Al Shammari, stated that the objectives of the Training for Employment program are to develop the functional and personal skills of young citizens to prepare them for success in the contemporary work environment. This initiative has achieved fruitful results, employing approximately 800 Emiratis enrolled in this program, thanks to the efforts of the Center of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT), which is affiliated to the Higher Colleges of Technology, and all the young participants in the program, who have demonstrated commitment "Serious and persevering in taking advantage of this valuable opportunity."
Dr. Mohammed Bakka, CEO of the Center for Excellence in Applied Research and Training (CERT), said they are delighted to be working with Mubadala and are responsible for training national cadres to work in various functional areas of Mubadala's affiliated companies.
