For this reason, extensive negotiations are taking place at the ministerial and administrative levels, and a joint statement will be announced at the summit meeting on the 4th.

According to the joint statement drafted by NHK, 15 out of 16 countries participating in the RCEP negotiations signed the next year's signature, saying that negotiations were substantially over in the area of ​​tariffs that were the focus. I am aiming.

However, there is no compromise in India, and the draft statement points out that “India has an important problem that cannot be solved. The final participation is whether there is a satisfactory solution,” It was difficult for the 16 countries that were targeted to conclude this year.

For RCEP, RCEP will continue to discuss with other countries, including India, from the standpoint of not accepting the framework that India cannot enter.
