The star of the K-pop and member of the famous group BTS, Jungkook, is responsible for a car accident, acknowledged Monday his agency who apologized to the victim and his fans.

The car of the South Korean pop singer collided with a taxi in Seoul on Saturday. Jungkook and the cab driver were slightly injured during the crash, police said.

This accident occurred just days after the end of the worldwide boy band tour around the world in Seoul.

"Last week, while driving his car, Jungkook made a mistake and hit another car," Big Hit Entertainment's agency said in a statement.

"Immediately after the accident, Jungkook admitted that he had broken the highway code (...) and reached an amicable settlement with the victim," the source said.

"We apologize again to the victim, and we apologize to the fans for causing them concern," the agency added.

An official of the National Police Agency told AFP that the pop star was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. However, he refused to disclose the nature of the offense committed by the singer.

BTS (short for Bangtan Sonyeondan, which stands for "Boy Scouts Resistant to Bullets") is a global musical phenomenon. It is the first K-pop band to have reached the top of sales in the United States and Great Britain and has sold sold out concerts in Los Angeles, Chicago or London, or even ignited in June a Stade de France completely full.

The seven boys, all in their twenties, look great with their neat hair, lipstick and earrings, seducing a generation comfortable with the issue of gender identity.
