“On Saturday (November 2 - RT ), early in the morning off the coast of Cotonou / Benin, pirates attacked our ship MV Bonita while it was anchored. Nine crew members were taken from the vessel, ”the company’s website said in a statement.
Other crew members informed the local authorities about the incident, and on the same day the ship arrived at the port of Cotonou.
The company emphasized that they are in constant contact with the responsible persons and services and, in the interests of the safety of the abducted team members, will not comment on the situation.
