He noted that the president has repeatedly stated his interest in continuing the summits in the Norman format and readiness for any meetings.

“He is waiting for the results of preparation and waiting for the conditions to directly lead us to the urgent need for a meeting of the leaders of the Norman format,” TASS quoted Peskova as saying.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Pristayko said that Kiev fulfills the conditions necessary for the Norman summit, and currently the date of the meeting depends on the Russian side.

In October, the Kremlin denied reports that the summit would be held on November 15 and would include a meeting between Putin and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.
