There were great reactions and many messages to Ann-Sofie Hermansson (S), former chair of the Gothenburg municipal council, when she posted on social media on Monday night that she renewed her professional certificate for her truck card. Something needed to be able to look for a job with any rider.

- What people were so upset about was that I put out my card with my entire social security number, but it's not that dangerous. They were worried about me and were well-groomed, "Ann-Sofie Hermansson tells SVT News West.

After many years in the world of politics, including as political secretary to Mona Sahlin in the government office, political secretary at the LO castle and then back to Gothenburg to eventually become the highest in the municipal leadership, she left politics last year under great drama. Last year she got to test drive Volvo's first electric garbage truck at Götaplatsen and that's when she decided.

- It was a dream to test drive it. It was one of the most fun things I did and I didn't want to leave the wheel, she says happily.

Ann-Sofie Hermansson, took her C driver's license as early as 1983, but she has hardly run anything since then. However, she worked as a truck driver at Volvo for some time. So she is no stranger to applying for a job as a truck driver and putting out hooks for different riders.

- I have to support myself and be able to pay the rent.

Who would want to hire a former top politician do you think?

- That is probably what is the hook, but I can not say other than that I am interested in working and am a damn bite.
