"It's just an old religious painting ..." A picture found in the kitchen for 2.9 billion yen, successful bid October 29th 4:17

In a French residential kitchen, a painting drawn by an Italian painter in the Middle Ages about 700 years ago was found, and it was sold at an auction for ¥ 2.9 billion in Japanese yen.

The winning bid was a 13th-century Italian painter called Cimabue's “Christ to be ridiculed”, surrounded by a crowd of Christ who was about 25cm long and 20cm wide to capture. The state is drawn.

The painting, which had been decorated for many years in the kitchen of an elderly woman's house in Compiegne in northern France, was discovered by an auction dealer and auctioned out in France on the 27th.

The winning bidder has not been disclosed, but according to the auctioneer, the winning bid is the highest amount of a medieval painting, many of which will be received by the owner woman.
