The general secretaries of CGIL, CISL, UIL, Maurizio Landini, Annamaria Furlan and Carmelo Barbagallo sent a letter today to the President of the Council, Giuseppe Conte, to request a meeting.

"We hereby request you - reads the letter sent today by the three general secretaries to the Premier - a meeting in which to define the times and the modalities with which to enter into the merits of the themes that were commonly identified, also in the presence of the Minister of "Economics and Finance and the Ministry of Labor, both in relation to the stability law that will be discussed in Parliament, both in the legislature program, and in what is contained in our Platform".

"By way of example - the letter continues - we are referring to: tax reform and the fight against tax evasion, pension reform and pension revaluation, re-launching of supplementary pensions, social policies and non-self-sufficiency, investments, industrial policies, revival of Southern Italy and new model of development, crisis management, renewal of national labor contracts starting from the public contract, tax reduction of salary increases ".
