"Since last Monday, I am again the subject of press revelations whose sole purpose is to undermine my commitment and my new professional activities". This is why Gozi resigned "to avoid political manipulation, also considering the European situation". According to Le Monde and Times of Malta, Gozi also had consultancy contracts with Muscat.
