Trudeau party does not gain an absolute majority in parliament


The Liberal Party of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau won the parliamentary elections, but does not gain an absolute majority of 170 seats, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the election commission.

According to the agency, liberals lead in 158 constituencies, while conservatives received support in 119.

It is emphasized that the Trudeau party will have to "look for a partner."
