Media: In Russia, the demand for gasoline decreased

Demand for gasoline has decreased in Russia, the newspaper Izvestia reports with reference to the study. According to the publication, from January to September, gasoline consumption decreased by almost 1% compared to the same period in 2018.



According to research by the Petromarket group and the Commodity Market Analytics agency, at the end of July the indicator reached 1.4%, the report says.

Experts noted that over the past decade a similar drop was observed in 2015 - 1.9%.

At the same time, the Ministry of Energy told the newspaper that this year there has been no reduction in gasoline shipments to the domestic market, and the situation with fuel supply is stable.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Energy of Russia Alexander Novak said that the situation with the quality of fuel at gas stations in Russia is improving.
