It was at seven in the morning when the woman was walking through a subway in Hummelsta that a man suddenly attacked her.
According to information to the police, the man must have kneeled, strangled and hit the woman on the face.
However, the reason behind the abuse is unclear.
- We have not received any information about whether the man should have tried to rob the woman or not, says Tobias Ahlén, press spokesman RLC Mitt.
After the incident, the woman went to hospital for control. An abuse report has been prepared.
At present, the police have no suspects.
