“There is a lot of incomprehensible now: contradictory and non-constructive statements by Kuchma’s spokesman on the basis of the work of the contact group, a fool who comes from other official representatives of Kiev, including Zelensky himself,” quoted Ushakova as saying.

According to him, all this is happening against the backdrop of the actions of Ukrainian nationalists, who are present not only on the line of separation of forces, but also “intensified” in Kiev.

“We are somewhat worried about the situation that arose after a certain work was carried out by political advisers to the leaders of the Norman format among themselves, and then their agreements were fixed by decisions of the contact group in Minsk,” he added.

As Ushakov recalled, the Stanmeier formula was signed, the schedule for the separation of forces in the Donbass was approved, but after that they began to "receive very conflicting signals from Kiev."

On October 15, Daria Olifer, a spokeswoman for the Kiev representative at the Minsk talks, Leonid Kuchma, said that Ukraine was ready to fulfill the political part of the Minsk agreements only after the dissolution of the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR, as well as the withdrawal of forces.

Commenting on these words, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the call to dissolve the republics was a blow to the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

The agency indicated that in this case we are talking about a statement by an unofficial person.
