The last FC Rosengård won the Allsvenskan was 2015. Then Hanna Bennison was 13 years old. Today she is 17 and a new Swedish champion.

- It's hard to describe, winning SM gold is something I've dreamed about since I was little, says FCR striker Hanna Bennison.

She is noticeably taken and has a little difficulty in expressing her feelings on Monday morning - she may not have really landed in being a Swedish champion.

However, Malin Levenstad, who has played in FC Rosengård throughout his career and has won four SM golds, quit and start again as both player and coach.

- It's my fourth SM gold. But you don't get tired of it, she says.

Gold joy spreading

Even in the city, people are happy about another gold for the master city of Malmö.

- I'm not that interested in sports, but I'm glad they won. I think they are cute, says Ulla Mauritzson, who lives in Malmö.

The stars of FC Rosengård act as idols for younger football players, says Towa Ekdahl.

- When I played football, they were my idols, so it's fun that there is more focus on the ladies' swan, she says.
